Oil Change
Conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic oil, with a multi-point inspection every time. We tell you what we found and what can wait.

Signs You Need Oil Change
Oil is the cheapest maintenance you will ever do and the most expensive to skip. Most people come in for one of these reasons.
- The maintenance reminder is on: your oil life monitor counts driving conditions as well as miles.
- Six months have passed: oil ages whether or not the car is driven.
- Oil that is black and thin: amber and slightly thick is healthy; thin and dark is not.
- A tick on cold start: often the first sign oil is no longer holding pressure where it should.
- Heavy work coming up: hauling a trailer or a Texas summer both ask more of the oil.
What We Do
Every oil change includes a multi-point inspection, and we go through the results with you.
- The right oil for your engine. We use the grade and specification your manufacturer lists. Modern engines with variable valve timing are particular about viscosity.
- New filter, correct torque. The filter is replaced every time, the drain plug gets a new washer where the design calls for one, and everything is torqued to spec.
- Multi-point inspection. Belts, hoses, fluids, tires, brakes, lights and battery. You get told what we found, including the things that are fine.
- A priority list. Anything we find is sorted into needs doing now, worth planning for, and keep an eye on it. Most items land in the last two.
How We Quote It
We inspect before quoting, because recommending parts from a description is how people end up paying for the wrong ones. Once we know what your vehicle needs, you get a written estimate covering parts and labor.
If we find something extra mid-job, we stop and call you with the measurement and the cost. Nothing gets done without your approval.
Every repair carries a 1, 2 or 3 year warranty, capped at 12,000, 24,000 or 36,000 miles respectively, whichever comes first. Ask us which one covers your repair; it is printed on the invoice either way.
Common Questions
How often should I change my oil?
Follow the manufacturer's interval and your oil life monitor. For most modern vehicles on full synthetic that's 5,000 to 7,500 miles, but short trips and summer heat push it shorter.
Is full synthetic worth it?
For most vehicles yes, and for turbocharged engines it is not optional. It holds up better against heat, which matters here in July.
Do I have to use the dealer to keep my warranty?
No. Federal law means an independent shop servicing your car on schedule does not void a manufacturer warranty. We record what was done and when.
Will you try to sell me a flush?
No. We recommend a service when there is a reason for it and we will show you the reason.
